Thought Leadership
I speak at conferences and events around the world, sharing real-world insights on security and tech in a way that’s clear, engaging, and practical.
You’ll often find me speaking at cybersecurity events around the world, where I break down complex risks into clear, real-world scenarios—demonstrating how vulnerabilities emerge and, more importantly, how they can be addressed with practical, actionable solutions.
My work spans the full spectrum of cybersecurity. I engage with diverse audiences across the globe, from technical professionals to executive leaders and even non-technical teams, helping them understand the evolving threat landscape and how security can become a true business enabler.
What drives me is the opportunity to make cybersecurity relatable and impactful. The talks I enjoy most are those where I can blend insight, interaction, and a bit of entertainment—keeping sessions rich in substance but also engaging enough to hold attention.
I use a mix of visual storytelling, live demos, and audience participation to create immersive experiences. While every presentation is carefully prepared, I leave space for spontaneity and honest discussion—because security isn’t just about tech, it’s about people, decisions, and real-world outcomes.
Here’s what organizers are saying:

“A fantastic opening keynote presentation yesterday at the industry led CIO UK&I event at The Langham Hotel. A big thank you to Lane Sullivan, who took to the stage to discuss Data Security: The Missing Context.”
